St. ANDREW’S DAY ASSEMBLY

We celebrated St. Andrew’s Day with a special Assembly.

Everyone wore tartan clothes!

P7 pupils gave a very interesting power-point presentation about the life of St. Andrew, and P3/4 painted some wonderful pictures to depict the story of St. Andrew.

All classes entertained the audience with Scottish dancing and Scottish songs.

P1/2 danced the Grand March, followed by the Eva Three-Step.

P5 sang “Touch the Sky” from the film Brave.

P6 and P7 sang “The Uist Trampling Song”

P7 sang “The Shinty Referee”.

William played some Gaelic songs on his accordion, Aine played some lovely Gaelic tunes on her clarsach and Fr. Roddy played the bagpipes.

At the end of the Assembly we all enjoyed some shortbread and Irn Bru.
