Remembrance Day

On 11th November we held our annual Remembrance Assembly.

We remembered all the brave men and women who died during the First World War, Second World War and other conflicts.

We observed the two minutes silence at 11.00 am, and we said prayers for all those who gave their lives for their country.

Primary 7 pupils gave an excellent power-point presentation. They outlined the story of Armistice Day and the significance of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance.

Poems and prayers were read by Primary 6, and Natalie and Faye sang Amazing Grace.

Aine played some lovely tunes on the clarsach at the beginning and end of the Assembly.

Some of Primary 7 dressed in their Sea Cadet uniforms, and Erin wore her Girl Guide uniform – they were all very smart.
